Supporting Strategic Harmonisation Programs

The Task

Our client, a US headquartered manufacturing organisation had grown by strategic acquisition across Europe, generally acquiring market leading businesses in the countries it wished to operate.

To realise the synergies and to ensure all employees were fully integrated into the global organisation, a number of ‘harmonisation’ programmes were designed and had to be implemented across the region.

One key area was Human Resources where the intention was to change from the existing locally- focused, in-country model, to a more strategic business partnering structure managed by more experienced HR professionals capable of adding real value and supported by the setting up of a new transactional shared service centre in Eastern Europe.

Our Approach & Result

Our role was to support the transition to the new model by hiring the right level of individuals capable of operating within the new model, both at HR Director and HR Manager level, with the Directors responsible for large, multi-country regions and the Managers operating across multiple business sites.

NET Recruit successfully completed this project, introducing 3 Regional HR Directors and 5 HR Managers/Business Partners into the organisation based in 5 different countries.
